The minimum age for certification varies by course, but is generally 14 years old.

The main difference between the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) courses is the depth and range of first aid training covered.

The 1-day EFAW course provides essential first aid skills and is generally suited to lower-risk workplaces such as offices, retail, education and low-risk sports environments.

The 3-day FAW course provides more comprehensive first aid training and is designed for workplaces where a higher level of first aid provision may be required, such as construction, manufacturing, warehousing and higher-risk sports environments.

The 2-day First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for those whose current First Aid at Work certificate is approaching expiry and who wish to renew their certification without completing the full 3-day course.

The Annual First Aid Refresher course is a 3-hour course for those who hold a current certificate and want to refresh their first aid knowledge, skills and techniques. It is not a requalification course and does not replace the formal requalification process.

Within 3-5 days of passing the course, you should receive a certificate.

Yes. Blended learning is available for selected First Aid courses, combining online learning with practical, face-to-face training. The practical element is completed in person to ensure you develop and demonstrate the required hands-on first aid skills. Please contact us to discuss this further.
