Onsite Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health
1 Day (6 Hours)
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition, directly or through someone they know. This course is suitable for all, but especially for employers who want to promote a positive workplace culture. It gives learners the knowledge to recognise common conditions, start supportive conversations, and signpost professional help.
Learners will be recognised as First Aiders for Mental Health, acting as a key point of contact in the workplace. The course also introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers the impact of drugs and alcohol, supporting employers in creating a healthier workplace.

Certification
On successful completion, learners receive the Ofqual-regulated Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) or SCQF Level 5. The qualification is valid for 3 years, with annual refresher training strongly recommended. To re-qualify after 3 years, learners must retake the full course.
Assessment
Assessment includes a practical demonstration of the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and a multiple-choice test. Certification is awarded upon successful completion.
