Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition, whether themselves, a family member, friend, or colleague.
This qualification builds on the Level 2/5 Award in First Aid for Mental Health, expanding into a wider range of mental health conditions and providing in-depth knowledge of the types of therapies and professional support available during treatment.
The course is particularly suitable for individuals in a supervisory or managerial role, where they hold responsibility for promoting a positive mental health culture and overseeing First Aid for Mental Health within the workplace.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the assessment, learners will receive the:
Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)
Award in Leading First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 6
This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended. To requalify after three years, learners must complete the full course again.
