Course Overview
The Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) Requalification is a 2-day course for individuals who already hold a First Aid at Work qualification and need to renew their certification. The course refreshes essential first aid and CPR skills, including CPR, AED use, life-threatening bleeding, injury management and common medical emergencies, while building confidence through practical, real-life scenarios.
Delivered by experienced doctors, the course helps workplace first aiders maintain their competence and renew their FAW qualification for a further three years.
Who Should Attend?
Existing workplace first aiders whose certificate is approaching expiry
Individuals who have previously completed the 3-day FAW course
Employees designated as first aiders in medium to high-risk workplaces

First Aid Roles and Responsibilities
Primary Survey and Casualty Assessment
CPR and AED
Managing an Unresponsive Casualty
Life-Threatening Bleeding
Injury and Wound Management
Common Medical Emergencies
Shock and Circulatory Problems
Assessment and Certification
Delegates are assessed throughout the course through practical demonstrations, questioning and scenario-based activities.
Successful participants receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification certificate, valid for 3 years.
