Course Overview
This Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is designed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide effective first aid in the workplace. This one-day course focuses on practical, hands-on training to ensure learners can respond quickly and appropriately to a range of injuries and medical emergencies.

- Employees designated as workplace first aiders.
- Small business owners or managers responsible for health and safety.
- Anyone seeking to enhance their first aid knowledge and skills.
No prior first aid experience is required.
Course Content
- Introduction to First Aid and Assessing a Scene
- Basic Life Support (CPR + AED)
- Managing an Unresponsive Casualty
- Common Workplace Injuries including bleeding, burns and scalds.
- Medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, seizures, asthma and choking
Learning Objectives
- Understand the importance of first aid in the workplace
- Be confident in assessing emergencies and providing life-saving interventions
- Know how to treat a variety of common injuries and conditions
- Use an AED and administer CPR effectively
Assessment and Certification
- Delegates are assessed continuously through observation of practical skills during the training.
- Successful participants receive a Level 3 EFAW certificate valid for 3 years
